Intensive Program
Our Intensive Program is designed for dedicated dancers looking to take their training to the next level in a supportive and challenging environment. With a three-tiered structure, we offer:
-
Primary Intensive (Ages 4-8) – A foundation-building program for young dancers eager to develop strong technique and performance skills.
-
Lite Intensive (Ages 8+) – Ideal for dancers who want a structured, intensive experience while balancing other activities.
-
Elite Intensive (Ages 8+) – For highly committed dancers ready to push themselves technically and artistically.

Unlike traditional audition-based programs, we do not require auditions. Instead, we invite interested dancers to join a few classes to experience our studio’s atmosphere and expectations. Our number one priority is a strong work ethic and commitment—we value dedication over perfection.

Understanding that dancers have school, jobs, and other extracurriculars, our hybrid program model is designed to provide intensive training while allowing for balance in their lives. At Take 5, we believe that dancers can pursue their passion without sacrificing family time, education, or other interests.

Ready to challenge yourself and grow as a dancer? Join us and experience the Take 5 difference!
Primary Intensive Program
Our introductory program will consist of separate technique classes in the jazz, ballet, and acro dance styles. They will then additionally learn 1-3 competitive group routines. Your dancer will no longer be required to participate in our classic recreational program unless they wish to add other styles of dance to their learning (for example hip hop or musical theatre).
In total, your dancer will attend the studio one - two times per week, approximately 3-4 hours in total.

Lite Intensive Program
Our lite program will offer classic program dancers who are looking for a bit more of a challenge, the opportunity of intensive training without the demand of a full-time program. Our lite program consists of separate technique classes in the jazz, tap, ballet, and a stretch & strength class with the option of adding on an acro class. They will then additionally learn 2 competitive group routines. Your dancer will no longer be required to participate in our classic recreational program unless they wish to add other styles of dance to their learning (for example hip hop or musical theatre).
In total, your dancer will attend the studio two times per week, approximately 5-6 hours in total
Elite Intensive Program
Our elite full-time program is ideal for the dancer who wishes to pursue dance as their main extra-curricular activity/sport.
Elite team members will train approximately 3 days a week with a minimum of 8 hours per week. The requirement for this program is graded ballet, Stretch & Technique, Jumps & Turns and Jazz, along with the corresponding choreography/technique classes. Exam participation is mandatory in certain styles. All dancers must participate in both jazz, tap, and ballet (if offered) as a minimum entry into our elite program. All routines above these styles will be by selection entry only and must be taken in order of studio staff preference.
In total, your dancer will attend the studio two-three times per week, approximately 10 hours+
